Bitcoin is just comfortable.
Bitomats are becoming more and more popular. No wonder they allow you to get BTC quickly and easily. For example, the total number of them increased since June by as much as 1 000 pieces. This in turn shows us, that this industry reached another milestone. While some Bitcoin ATMs allow only the purchase of this leading cryptovalue, others are already enriched with additional features, thus making it possible to sell BTC for cash.
It is worth mentioning that one of such devices was installed at the airport in Miami not so long ago. According to the co-founder and BTM Bitstop’s Strategy Director, travelers are keen to use Bitcoin.
More and more people prefer to travel with Bitcoin instead of cash. This is a convenient and safe solution. Miami International Airport is the ideal place for our customers. They can easily and quickly exchange their dollars for BTC and vice versa….
However, not everyone is satisfied with the growing popularity of bitomats. According to Bloomberg, the U.S. federal agency IRS has recently focused on potential tax problems related to Bitcoin ATMs. Criminal Investigation Chief – John Fort revealed that his team is now working with law enforcement authorities to oversee illegal activities that may grow as technology advances.
He believes that bitcoin ATM’s machines should be required to combat money laundering (AML) and to comply with the KYC policy.
