The current Bitcoin price is only $8,150. BTC has dropped 4% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV) are losing even more, 8% and 9% respectively. All leading altcoins are also falling.

Bitcoin Price (BTC) lowest in three weeks

During Monday’s session, after 18:00, Bitcoin started to lose a lot, knocking out local support and the trend line, eventually dropping to around USD 8,000, and thus noting the lowest price since 25 October. In the last 24 hours, BTC has recorded a decline of around 4% in the last 24 hours and over 6% in the last week. At the moment, the Bitcoin price (BTC) is around USD 8,150.

If Bitcoin beats the local support (at the level of USD 8,400) and the downward trend line (drawn since June this year), it opens the way for further declines in the following days and weeks. Probably first towards the local holes of $7,800, then towards the monthly minima of $7,300.

Bitcoin Forks follow in his footsteps

In reaction to decreases in the largest cryptocurrency, the following bitcoin forks: Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV) and Bitcoin Gold (BTG) were also strongly losing their forks during the last day. BCH recorded a drop by 8% to USD 250, testing three-week holes. The BSV fell even further, by 9% to USD 114, also testing its lowest levels since October 25th. The BTG lost about 6% and is now costing USD 7.5.

The top altcoins are losing a lot.

Monday’s drops in the Bitcoin exchange rate resulted in a depreciation of almost the entire crypto-currency market. Not only did they lose hard bitcoin forks, but also the leading altcoins. The biggest losses were recorded by TRON (6.5%), Stellar (5.8%), EOS (5.3%) and Binance Coin (4%).

In the lead of the largest altcoins also Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC) collapse, respectively by 2.1%, 3% and 3.5%. Among the largest cryptovalutes in terms of market capitalization, the only one that has not recorded any decreases is the Tether (USDT), which has gained about 1.4% in the last 24 hours.

As a result of recent declines, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies falls to the level of USD 227 billion, which is the lowest level in November, testing three-month minima.
